Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using InboxDays, including the Markdown/rich composer, AI endpoints, APIs, and automation.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service. Violations may result in rate limits, suspension, or termination.

1. Prohibited content and activities

You may not use InboxDays to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or deceptive commercial messages.
  • Phish, spoof, impersonate others, or harvest credentials.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or exploit kits.
  • Generate or transmit illegal content, including child sexual abuse material or content that facilitates violent crime.
  • Harass, threaten, or incite violence against individuals or groups.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data (including other users’ Vaults).
  • Bypass security, abuse sharing links, or attempt to extract encryption keys you do not own.

2. Composer and AI endpoints

You may not use the Markdown / rich-text composer or AI endpoints to draft, generate, or send spam, phishing, malware instructions, or other illegal content. AI features are for legitimate productivity assistance only. See also the AI Data Privacy & Model Ethics Statement.

3. Rate limiting and API abuse

  • Do not overload the Service with automated requests beyond documented or fair-use limits.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data except through supported product features or written permission.
  • Do not share API tokens, OAuth grants, or session credentials.
  • Do not interfere with metering, billing, or abuse-detection systems.

4. Multi-tenant and enterprise use

Organization admins must ensure members comply with this AUP. We may notify admins of member violations and take action at the org or user level.

5. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to abuse@inboxdays.com with relevant message IDs, URLs, and timestamps.
