Beta Programme Terms

These Beta Programme Terms apply in addition to the general Terms of Service while you participate in the InboxDays private beta. Where they conflict, these Beta Programme Terms control for beta participation.

Private beta. InboxDays is offered to invited participants as a pre-release / early-access service. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. Do not rely on the beta as your sole production mail system without maintaining access to your underlying provider (Gmail, Microsoft 365, IMAP).

By checking the acceptance box on the Create Account page (or otherwise accepting these terms when prompted) and completing registration, you agree to these Beta Programme Terms, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. Acceptance is recorded with your account identifier, the document version (2026-08-10), and the time of acceptance.

1. Eligibility & invitation

  • Participation is by invitation or approval only. We may refuse, suspend, or end beta access at any time.
  • You must be able to agree to contracts (or have authority to bind your organisation).
  • Beta access is personal to you (or your organisation, if invited as such) and is not transferable without our written consent.

2. Pre-release software — no warranties

The beta Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Without limiting that:

  • We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation during beta.
  • We do not promise any particular feature set, performance, or uptime SLA.
  • Features labelled experimental, preview, or AI-assisted may produce incorrect or incomplete results; you remain responsible for reviewing outbound mail and destructive actions (delete, archive, TTL rules, WORM retention).

3. Data, retention & possible resets

  • Your mail continues to live primarily with your connected providers. InboxDays stores metadata, settings, and related application data needed to operate the client.
  • During beta we may reset environments, clear caches, rotate keys, or require re-authentication. We will try to give notice for disruptive changes when practical.
  • You should not store the only copy of critical information solely inside InboxDays beta features.
  • Privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Beta diagnostics attached to feedback tickets may include technical details about your browser/session (see Help & feedback).

4. Feedback licence

If you send feedback, bug reports, ideas, or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant InboxDays a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, distribute, and commercialise that Feedback without restriction or obligation to you. Feedback is not confidential unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Confidentiality of the beta

You agree not to publicly disclose non-public beta features, performance measurements, security findings, or other confidential materials we designate as confidential, except as required by law or with our prior written consent. You may discuss that you are testing InboxDays at a high level unless we ask otherwise.

6. Acceptable use during beta

The Acceptable Use Policy applies in full. In addition, you must not attempt to disrupt other testers, probe systems beyond authorised security testing channels, or use the beta to send unlawful bulk mail.

7. No compensation; commercial terms

  • Unless we agree otherwise in writing, beta participation is unpaid and does not create employment, partnership, or agency.
  • Paid plans, trials, and refunds (if offered during beta) are governed by the Terms of Service and Cancellation & Refund Policy, as modified by any beta-specific pricing notice we publish.

8. Liability during beta

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InboxDays and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of beta participation. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Beta Programme Terms is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim or (b) fifty pounds sterling (£50), except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

9. Term & termination

These Beta Programme Terms start when you accept them and continue until the earlier of (a) the end of the beta programme as we announce, (b) conversion of your account to generally available Terms only, or (c) termination of your access. Sections that by nature should survive (including Feedback, confidentiality, and liability) survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Beta Programme Terms. Material updates may require renewed acceptance (a new version identifier). Continued participation after we require re-acceptance means you agree to the updated version.

11. Governing law

Unless a mandatory local law says otherwise, these Beta Programme Terms are governed by the same law and dispute process as the Terms of Service.
